Our people

As founding partners of Clarke Kler Consultancy, Julie Clarke and Sokhjinder Kler have many years of combined experience in working in the public sector. This includes strategic planning, organisational development, research and project appraisal and management. They have a strong background in the social housing sector and local government at a local, regional and national level.

Julie has worked in in housing policy and management in local government, is a senior lecturer on the Built Environment programmes at Northumbria University and specialises in organisational development, community engagement, neighbourhood regeneration and renewal and sustainability.

Sokhjinder's experience ranges from working at a strategic level on policy and leadership development, performance management and continuous improvement to community involvement with the Housing Corporation and the Improvement and Development Agency (IDeA).

Both hold non-executive roles on the boards of a number of public sector organisations.

In addition to the partners the consultancy also has access to associates with specialists skills which enables CKC to fully meet clients' needs.
